How to Apply
All applicants to the joint master's program in community organizing and popular education must first meet the Graduate School requirements as outlined by the University or Wisconsin-Milwauke, in addtion to submitting the following documents:
- Completion of the online application to the UWM Master's of Science Cultural Foundations in Education program
- Two letters of recommendation from individuals who can testify to the applicant’s academic potential. The letters should be submitted simultaneously to the UWM School of Education and the Autonomous University for Social Movements at the addresses below (e-mailed .pdf files preferred).
- A written statement of educational and life goals, with a description of any previous experiences in community organizing or related work. The statement should be submitted simultaneously to the UWM School of Education and the Autonomous University for Social Movements at the addresses below.
- A short application containing basic student contact information submitted to AUSM.
*NOTE: All admitted students must be accepted by both UWM and AUSM.
